Positive: The location is very good, with really nice views of the Cobh harbor entrance, so you can watch the ships come in and out ! the home is virtually new, so the facilities are very nice, the furnishings top notch, the kitchen wear, chinaware and glassware might be the best we have ever seen in rental ! the windows fill the place with natural light and it was very quiet for sleeping. The bathrooms are also top quality, supplied with soaps and lotions as well. Nice outdoor seating available as well for sitting outside in the warm sun !

Negative: Nothing to complain about at all, everything was high quality

Summary: Great place for a getaway to the Cobh / Cork area, with easy access to Kinsale, Midleton and more

Positive: We loved the location and the sea view was awesome. The kitchen was full of the things we've come to love and the washing machine, off the kitchen, worked perfectly. We loved that we were at the end of the row of like houses and that we could walk into the centre of the city in 15 minutes. Along the way, the girls could stop and play on the beach and the Titanic garden was very nearby as well. We had a great time here.

Negative: It had nothing to do with the home but with the service. There were no taxis at the train station when we arrived and if it wasn't for the concern of locals, we didn't know where to go (neither did the taxi driver we finally hired) nor who to call. A telephone number for a local taxi service would have helped or better, having a taxi pick us up (we're a family of 5 with 3 small girls - ages 10-6) and pushing luggage uphill and 2 kms was not an option.

Summary: We loved our stay at 14 Dun Farraige - the bay, the town, getting to know the people. All great!
